Missouri Worker Voices
Missouri Worker Voices (MOWV) is a workshop held by the Missouri Workers Center from Oct. 2025—May 2026. Its goal is to help educate employees on how to tell their stories about struggles in the workplace as a way to fight racism and advocate against mistreament. I worked alongside classmates, my professor, and the communications manager of MOWV, to help create designed learning materials for students of the workshop to engage with.
Process and Ideation
As part of the design team, I contributed to the ideation, sketching out different directions we could take in branching off from Missouri Workers Center’s original visual identity in order to give a cohesive but unique look to the workshop of MOWV. Going through this process guided us to decide how we wanted to treat color, photos, and layouts for workbooks, presentation slides, and a certificate.
Final Works
During the project, my main focus was on designing presentation slide and sketches for workbook and certificate designs.
